In a statement in Ado-Ekiti yesterday, Olowolafe urged the Uche Secondus-led National Working Committee (NWC) to intervene before the chairman sinks the party and makes it unable to win future elections. Olowolafe said: “Despite wise counsel by state working committee and many other stakeholders, his activities in the recent time fuelling and fanning ember of discord are of great concern. But Oguntuase, while reacting to the allegation through a phone call by The Guardian, accused the legal adviser of doing the bidding of his paymaster by trying to cover up alleged criminality perpetrated by them. He said that the legal adviser through his actions was merely pre-empting what the party could do to his alleged criminal activities and that of his boss. In another development, the PDP in the state yesterday protested against the judgment of the Supreme Court, which sacked former Imo State Governor Emeka Ihedioha.
